- Homegrown apples from Yoakum, Texas
- Homemade peanut butter cookies (although, they turned out a little funny... I think the peanut butter we used had a weird amount of fat. The cookies were a little, um, I'm not sure how to describe them. Thick? Heavy? They looked beautiful, but were a little chewy. Except that we had chunky peanut butter. So they were a little crunchy too. You figure it out.)
- Handwritten note from a dear college professor (even if it was to tell me she's at Sterling Presby Manor with a broken leg. Handwritten notes are always wonderful! Oh, and she's planning on moving back to her own home in November, so it's not long term.)
- Kit Kat bar to share with a friend.
- Dark chocolate shared by a friend (and it's a good thing it was in a pink wrapper. Otherwise my cousin would have eaten it!)
- Peace (well, at least when I have it. Which is more often than it was. The servant of the Lord must not strive...)
