First thought: Just like the Master of the Dark Side, the enemy continually tells us: "This is your destiny." But he doesn't really know that. And it isn't true. And even when we give in at moments to the enemy's tricks, even when we start attacking out of anger and hate, even when we mess up--God doesn't give up on us. The Dark Side is NOT our destiny.

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. For we all... are changed into His image...by the Spirit of the Lord. (2 Cor. 3:17-18)
