Sam ("the printer man"--see Tuesday's blog) turned 19 years old today. For those who don't know, Sam is my second cousin. He and his family also work at Gospel for Asia. Since he is my second cousin and has no sisters, all the tormenting rights that would inherently belong to a sister now belong to me. How fun! Happy Birthday, Sam.
Today I am tired. Sometimes dreams become reality and sometimes dreams are deferred. What happens to a dream deferred? Does it dry up like a raisin in the sun? I think if you try to take your deferred dream into your own hands, it will perish. If you leave your dream in God's hands, it will only become more... more... alive. Nourishing. Promising. Healthful. Powerful. More right.
